Well the house process continues to be a whirlwind. We were close on the 4 square 2500 sq ft house,but after some deep thought and delayed sticker shock decided that isn't the one for us.
The other one which we refer to as McKenna or Edison house (same house 2 locations), is still in the running, but not definite yet.
In the mean time we have been slowly prepping our house. I painted the basement a nice neutral beige replacing our previous blue. Then today we carpeted the basement stairs and the bulk of the basement. This saved us the effort of painting the stairs and trying to repaint basement floor which was peeling in many spots. Hopefully, all of this efforts will pay off when it comes to selling our house in a tricky market. The right house/price combo are still selling but if your house isn't quite right then it will sit as many are. Mortgage rates have been going down which is good, I just hope we can sell and jump in a new property and enjoy the new low rates (compared to what we currently have)

Kids update-
We are still recovering from Audrey's birthday and the influx of new toys. We also brought back our little people so we are drowning in toys and we haven't even hit Christmas yet. We are hoping to do some purging before we leave for Christmas but we'll see.
Jack is quite the dynamo. Despite battling a cold and teething (again) he is all over the place. He is quite an adept climber and if he finds something he can step up (including parents on the floor) on he will climb on tables, chairs, sofas, ottomans... He is also on the slight starting to walk. Today I have seen him take 5 step walks between chairs never falling. For longer distances he still decides crawling is more effective, but I anticipate full speed walking shortly.
He is also now 60/40 real food over jar food. He probably would be more if we let him because he has got plenty of chompers and wants to use them.
Thats about it. We head for Florida friday night which is approaching fast, especially with all the house projects, birthday parties, etc..

Every now and then, I screech to a halt when I pass that picture Jim took of your Sarah in our upstairs hall. It's Audrey with long hair.
Freaks me out man.
And Jack is wonderful in every way.
